A bad position of the head in the uterus at the end of pregnancy, or during a difficult delivery which can cause contracture of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. This is the muscle that fits on the sternum, collarbone and back of the ear.
The baby's head then tilts to one side. It will be enough to solicit the opposite zone so that everything returns in the order. Sometimes treatment with physiotherapy or appropriate osteopathic care may be necessary.
